An Open Thank You Note to Artists

Dear artists,

Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your work with not only us but the world.

Being an artist is often a vulnerable path. You make something so deeply personal and then present it to the world with an open heart. Not everyone is so fearless.

Thank you for reminding us of what's possible.

It is invigorating to see you dedicating your life to what brings you joy. By pursuing these passions despite the risks and fears, you inspire us to do the same.

Thank you for what you create.

Art can speak things that can't always be said with words. Through your craft, you help others to evoke and validate their emotions, providing comfort that we are not the only ones feeling a certain way.

Thank you for creating an outlet for us to be challenged.

We are grateful for even the work and moments you create that make us uncomfortable and push us to grow. By leaning into these feelings, we push ourselves to think more openly and to see the world from a different point of view.

Thank you for sharing stories that otherwise might not have had a voice.

You help us escape to different lands without taking a step or revealing someone’s beautiful humanity without a spoken word.

Thank you for encouraging dialogue, for bridging communities, and allowing us to form true connections with people near and far.

Finally, thank you for trusting us to help you get organized and build your art business.

You give us purpose, a reason to get out of bed each morning and do our best work. We could not do it without your support, inspiration, and thoughtful engagement with what we make.

Our mission is to help you succeed as professional artists, and we are here for you always.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

The team at Artwork Archive
