Concentric Harmony, a play maze made from colorful vertical columns, has discoverable sensory features that foster curiosity and unstructured play. The 97 brightly painted steel columns arranged in concentric circles, create a dimensional mandala that is part birthday-cake, part Mesoamerican step pyramid. The innermost chamber of the maze, lined with reflective stainless-steel mirror strips creates fractal, fun-house reflections, un-selfies that reflect you as part of the park environment. The mirror strips affixed to the top angles of each column sparkle with reflected sun, making the maze very visible at a distance, beckoning kids and adults from all corners of the park on a pilgrimage of discovery.
