Much of my work focuses on the need to conserve and protect the beautiful landscapes of my home in New Mexico. The dazzling colors of the red rock cliffs and canyons of the southwest are awe inspiring against the striking blue sky and frequently appear in my pieces. I interpret them in various ways using various approaches, and for this theme of Re-Vitalized I chose to recycle old t-shirts and garden mesh, materials otherwise destined for the trash.
