A funky artwork for all the vintage Vauxhall lovers out there! The Vauxhall Velox-based utility and Vagabond convertible are two such examples of gene splicing by early GM-H auto-geneticists keen to forge an Antipodean identity even before Australia's first car, the Holden 48-215 - or FX as it has become known - arrived in late 1948 (from Trade Unique Cars).
Whilst my artwork was inspired by an actual Vauxhall, I certainly haven't created a realist version of the actual car. Firstly, there is way more chrome on my painting then in real life and I am not sure you can drive my design with its wonky wheel... However, that is what my style is all about - strong contrasting colours, extreme perspectives and over-emphasizing certain aspects of the subject matter. Its what makes a truly unique artwork that would suit your home, office or even your workshop! (well I think so anyway) 😃
