There is an iconic sheep farm on Irish Settlement Road in Underhill Vermont that a number of artists have painted. I couldn't resist the temptation when one morning I arrived on site and the frost was slinging to the shadows and the farmer was heading sheep into the barn. The touch of color in the trees was just enough to break up all the greens and the play of light and shadow made for a nice painting.
