Artist notes: Dry conditions have turned the wild grasses into faded yellow wisps and the breeze shakes loose Arbutus tree leaves that crackle underfoot along the trail. The light is a bleached as the earth. Yet, there is peace and comfort next to this pungent sea with an earthy dust puffing skyward with each step.
