Artist Notes: An icy northwest wind whips up the Salish Sea in the Strait of Georgia with such playful laughter that I forget that I didn’t put my wool sweater on under my rain jacket. Such abandoned glee can do that. No one brush mark is too precious or self identified or defined. They are all in motion at once creating a vibrant whole as if the universe just lightly rested for a moment in paint
