Baker Beach
The goal of this piece was to capture the water crashing on to the rocks. And I did it!
I’m so pleased with this piece, it was though provoking, as well as a bit of a challenge.
The sky is simply gorgeous, and I am ever so pleased with how the color of the water in the foreground captures the color of the sky.
Then as I worked it the rocks in the foreground frame the crashing water.
I decided to add some color to the bridge in the back ground. Not a lot just enough to include it in the painting.
And then voila the Bridge is now included and is also framed by the rocks as well as the hill before it.
For me The Golden Gate is as important as the statue of Liberty.
