"Persistence of Time" was painted alongside my friend and fellow artist, Chula Beauregard, on the sanctuary hiking trail in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. While I focused on the towering trees and the dappled sunlight filtering through the forest, Chula painted a small study of the creek behind me, capturing transparent water and delicate reflections. Painting with friends like Chula brings added joy to these moments in nature, where we share both creative energy and the beauty of the scene around us.
