Pandanus Mayhem by Susy Boyer Image: I photographed this view while on the Burleigh Heads National Park ocean walk.
I have a long history with this beautiful trail around the iconic headland. I've run up and over it hundreds of times, starting at the age of 15 while on a school athletics camp. The trails wind through dense bush, shaded by huge gum trees and tangled pandanus. So my favourite part of running through there is the glorious glimpses of stunning blue ocean that pop up just as your muscles are tiring. It never fails to spur me onwards!
