The image as well as all the pieces in the “Evolutions” series, is based in the "Portrait of a Woman" project using my self portrait.
The sculptural photographs add delightful 3-dimensional quality hand crafted using brushed locally sourced metal and stained wood.
The pieces in the series are hand built using metal, wood and digital image. Brushing the metal gives a unique look to the works.
Each metal piece is unique and has its own metal changing reaction.
The "Portrait of a Woman" project started in 2015 and continues with digital, 2-D, 3-D and video artworks.
