Because I have always been fascinated by the movement of water, I challenged myself to capture a moment where water was in motion (like this large wake produced from a twin-engine boat). In contrasting the chaotic, yet rhythmic undulating surface qualities of the wake, the light refracting off the frothy spray in fleeting iridescence, with the stationary landmass and horizon in the background, I created stability to the composition.
