There are impasto skirts of paint, delicate transparent watery area and flicks and flecks of paint. The colours seem to hang and dance in a liminal space between heaven and earth. Painted in the rain on middle beach. The colours ran and the rain added droplet marks which I love. I got very wet and cold but it was worth it!

One of the new acrylic paintings created en plein air. I have loved painting these energetic and colourful canvases. They are enlivened by the wonderful location and often incorporate sand from the beach.

The sides have a deep edge which is painted in a suitable colour.
