Lapis Aurum Relic
15 x 12 x 10 cm
Sea-worn pebbles, lapis lazuli, gold-gilt stones, resin base
A work that feels at once ancient and ceremonial — as if an artefact unearthed from a lost coastal shrine.
A foundation of gold-gilded stones forms the seat of the sculpture, above which a slender arch of natural pebbles rises, flecked here and there with the deep celestial blue of lapis lazuli.
The contrast between the luminous gold below and the earthy shoreline tones above gives the piece a sense of reverence — a quiet monument to the meeting of land, sea and sky.
The clear resin base grounds the work in a pool of stillness, as if the relic had been lifted straight from tidal shallows.

🤎 Sea-Worn River & Beach Pebbles – smooth natural stones in ochre, beige and grey, forming the upward-reaching arc.
🤍 Pale Agate / Quartz Highlights – occasional lighter pebbles catching and reflecting the light.
🪨 Resin Base – clear and glass-like, giving the impression of the work emerging from a tidal pool.
