This is an exploration of the notion of an unbiased, rather chaotic ground that is not subordinated to ideas of representation. The ground itself is undifferentiated and a difference in itself. Through an open mind, exploratory shapes and forms became visually equal and not representational.
Any meaning derived from the drawings is a mere coincidence. They are not figures or realistic objects. Our learned patterns and attitudes restrict our approach toward undifferentiated possibilities. Our experience and skills oppose the free expression of difference. They also impose preconceived ideas into representational forms.
A Triptychon of three single drawings on board.
