After seeing the vintage "broken grid" quilts from Roderick Kiracofe's "RED" quilt exhibition at Hello Stitch Studio, I created this piece using old jeans scrounged from friends and family. Working with the different shades of indigo and the wear in each pair of jeans is always satisfying and I love how it looks like the quilt has been shattered and then meticulously put back together...incorrectly.
