I'm drawn to the visual playfulness of Op Art and optical illusions. This quilt is crafted from repurposed denim and linen, materials that bring texture and dynamic movement to the already visually distorted grid.

The pattern is inspired by traditional overshot woven coverlets, reinterpreted through the language of patchwork. While my studio is equipped with a wide array of craft tools, a loom isn’t among them, so I chose to recreate the woven aesthetic through stitching instead.
