The spaces we inhabit define how we think. How we arrange our lives, how we feel about ourselves and interact with each other can be defined by architecture. My work explores the idea of flexible spaces, architecture that suggests rather than defines. The light room in an ephemeral, non-tangible structure. It is a visual construct that evokes a sense of isolation and intimacy, yet does not restrict physical movement, making the light room, the light sculpture a way of making people rethink how the spaces in their lives defines their behaviour. In this image I have drawn with light to create constraints and make us consider the spaces.
