John Stewart named his 34-ft boat 'Christy Stewart' after his wife and had the lettering 'painted professionally' on the stern. Anchored here in the Indian River Lagoon at Sebastian, Florida. For ten years 1975-1985, John fished for King Mackerel in a fleet of 'about 100 boats.' John 'rigged up a 12-mile longline' -- 12 miles long! -- in the early 80s and for three years drift-fished the Christy Stewart at night in the Gulf Stream to catch swordfish which went to the New York City market.
