“Running for miles, plotting out the prairie, a fence binds together a Dakota dream ... fencing gathered in herds of cattle and flocks of sheep. A strong cedar post could withstand the Dakota land just as the pioneers withstood the rugged Dakota Territory life. Using unusual angles, reflections, and lighting I attempt to transform a common place setting into a unique artistry.”
