“The four arches of this painting depict four spaces, from cosmic to microscopic. The silver poplars in the painting are found in a delightful small park in Hot Springs, SD, called Centennial Park. This piece is part of my Metaphysical Landscapes series, a collection of paintings that often reveal both the seen and bits of the unseen -- dealing with connections, cycles, and relationships in the natural world, inspired by the great beauty and diversity of the Black Hills of South Dakota.”
