What could be more reasonable than making a quilt on the subject of beds, sleeping, dreaming, snoozing, snoring, and other activities that occur under a quilt? (Sleepers are also another name for the cross-ties on a railroad track. There was no length too far for Dorothy to stretch to make a play on words.) The dedication in the back of the book based on this quilt reads, "Thank You -- Berkeley Librarians, Roger and Jean Moss, Elizabeth Reasoner, Kevin Vance and Seth Vance. /Berkeley, Ca./2004"
