One of Vance's last quilts, the extremely fun and funny Odd Couples, Vance's perceptive portrait illustrations are at their best. She drolly pairs couples that have only a last name in common. Thus E.B and Wanna white meet on a Wheel of Fortune stage and Esther and Tennessee Williams share a dip in a pool.
