The title for this quilt -- on the subject of religious figures in history, literature, and comic strips shows the quilter's propensity for the pun. In her submission to the 2004 Marin Quilt & Needle Arts Show (where this entry won Third Place in its class) she wrote, "I must 'make it up as I go along' or it loses its punch for me."
