Is it any surprise that Dorothy chose to do a quilt on composers, inventors, artists, poets, novelists and other original souls? The only wonder is that she didn't think of it sooner. And isn't it comforting to realize that some of Dorothy's subjects (like Donald Rumsfeld in this quilt) will quickly lose their currency as they descend into deserved obscurity?
