Monte

This painting was inspired by the local forest in La Pampa which is known as 'Monte'. I wanted to transmit the effect of light cast through the branches. In the centre panel there is a little bird called a blue Tanager which flies down from an olive tree in my garden to look at itself in the wing mirror of my car. I decided that he should be the protagonist of this painting.
