Simon, a British painter, has lived in Argentina since 2007, exhibiting mainly in Buenos Aires and London.
Message
This work started off as two separate compositions that I later decided to unite as one. I photographed the bird to the right of the composition which is known locally as a 'pecho colorado' which in English is a white-browed meadowlark. I wanted to create the sensation of a vortex where different realties coexist, merge and collide.
