Winter Whispers

In February, I embraced the unseasonably warm temperatures by venturing out for an afternoon plein air excursion. This painting was captured from Gabriel Dumont Park, situated alongside the banks of the South Saskatchewan River. As I painted, the birds were singing, and people were strolling along the paths. With not a whisper of wind to disturb the tranquility, it was indeed a perfect day for plein air painting.
