The historic St. Paul’s church stands proudly on one of Saskatoon’s most picturesque streets, Spadina Crescent. The inspiration for this painting came from a reference photo taken from 5th Avenue, the street that runs behind the church. What caught my eye were the captivating angles of the rooftops and the enchanting way the morning sunbathed the steeple and rooftops in its golden light.
