During the summer, my friends and I gather to paint in each other's gardens, taking turns as hosts. This piece was created in my friend Celeste's lovely garden. What really drew me in was the cobblestone path and the way the bright sun poured through the gate, casting a warm glow on the sidewalk, while the distant light created a beautiful dappled effect.
