“My art is made of the simple joy of concentrating very hard on visual richness and variations.
P & T #1 was made to see what superimposed drawings of two models would look like. Attention was paid to the overall motion in the work, to the individual qualities of each line and/or mark, and to a consistency in the attitudes expressed by the figures. The title is taken from the first initial of each model and the fact that it was the first drawing to combine these two models.”
