These photographs are part of a series of ektacolor prints taken in Mexico. As a photographer, I am very much concerned with the formal qualities of my photographs – space, line, composition and color. I think that color represents the most important aspect of my work. In this group of photographs, I have focused on structures as components of the whole within the limitation of the square format. I believe photography is the ability of the photographer to recreate his subject matter in its basic reality and to present this reality as a photographic print.
