Coming Through

One of my favourite painters is my 5 yr old daughter and this piece incorporates a piece of one of her drawings as well as some shiny purples spangles from a string of lights of hers. Maybe because of this, the painting turned out to be rather more innocent and pure than usual, with less darkness and heavy energy. Instead, it is a gay, playful, light and somewhat soothing piece, only possible when someone who has been in emotional turmoil, begins to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Good things begin to seem possible.
