This tree was a labor of love. A friend from long ago posted that his beautiful Magnolia tree has died over the winter. It has suddenly shed its leaves and blooms and never came back. The photo of the dead tree caught my eye and I asked if I could immortalize her, and the answer of course was yes! This painting has a "heart" defined by the branches of the tree and an angel who lit on top and is ready to take her to heaven.
