Sunny Sip is my vibrant take on a floral still life that celebrates color and movement with no hesitation. In the center, I placed a simple white pitcher, confident yet unpretentious, overflowing with flowers that refuse to sit quietly. They burst with bright yellows, reds, and oranges, their petals loosely outlined to give each bloom a sense of freedom and energy. Large green leaves stretch out from the bouquet, balancing the warmth of the flowers.

The background isn’t just a backdrop—it’s a blend of soft pinks, purples, and reds that pulse gently beneath the flowers, adding depth while letting the blooms remain the focus.

When I created this piece, I embraced the expressiveness of oil paint. The thick, bold brushstrokes carry a rhythm that feels both intentional and spontaneous. I wanted to mix defined shapes with abstract swaths to invite the viewer’s eye to wander, to notice little details—the way the flowers almost float off the canvas, how the colors shift subtly in and out of focus.
