The 'USS Roanoke Light Cruiser Bell' is a historical bell and monumental sculpture located in front of the Main Branch Library in Downtown Roanoke. The USS Roanoke was a U.S. Navy ship commissioned in 1949 that served in the Atlantic, Mediterranean and Pacific shortly after World War II ended.
