Message
The Roanoke Inlet Art Project was an initiative by the City of Roanoke Stormwater Division and the Roanoke Arts Commission to raise awareness of the importance of protecting the waterways and the role it plays in preserving the nature of the region. Each piece is related to a water-inspired design. The initiative has been undertaken twice, the first in 2018 and the second in 2022, to draw attention to the storm drains that can be hidden in plain sight and raise awareness about stormwater pollution.
