“The first time I visited Roanoke,” says artist and self-employed hairdresser Brittany Knight, “was when I first laid eyes on Kudzu and fireflies.”
Here, the artist stands atop a ladder-back chair finding her place in the composition at Fallon Park. “I’m captivated by the Roanoke landscape” says the Bakersfield, California native.
“Recently I had some work accepted into my first local fine art exhibition,” says Knight. “I hope to continue to show my fine art photography at local galleries. I also would like to work towards generating more income through portraiture, commercial photography and hopefully more community projects! I’d like to be a catalyst for advancing the well-being of citizens and promoting tourism for potential visitors.”
