Gillespie’s piece displayed at the Williamson Road Branch Library is metal sculptures using enamel on aluminum. The art is suspended from the library atrium and multicolored aluminum pieces are shaped into small stars hanging by wire creating a mobile like structure. This whimsical piece plays with light and movement displaying Gillespie’s use of highly colorful art.
