- Ferdinand & Riverside Street Mural, 2024
The Ferdinand Avenue Street Mural is a project to improve safety for all road users along Ferdinand Avenue in Old Southwest. Led by artist Maggie Perrin-Key, volunteers painted art designs created by the artist in six installments along Riverside Drive and Ferdinand Avenue. The goal of the project is to reduce speeding, improve sidewalk and crossing visibility, and increase the safety of pedestrians and cyclists. PedalSafe ROA, the AARP, and Toyota North America made this project possible.
