My B.A. is from Florida State University in Visual Communications. My M.A. in Biomedical Communications from the University of Texas Southwestern Graduate School.

Moving to Montana from Miami for a medical illustration position, I explored the landscapes and wildlife of the Rocky Mountain West. The Bob Marshall Wilderness, Yellowstone plus our acreage in the woods on Downing mountain outside Hamilton have inspired all my artwork.

Before painting in Procreate on iPad Pro, I use several of my photo references in one piece, moving, assembling and adjusting their color and saturation as my sketch making process.
