MessageCollection: Abstract
In the year 2016, I moved from Ukraine to Colombia. I was looking for a year round warmer country and to be surrounded by botanical and geological wonders. These wishes were quickly granted and I immersed myself in the special beauty of Colombia quickly.
Previously I lived in the USA for a long time. I am a USA citizen living in Medellin, Colombia. Much of my time in the USA, and to a lesser degree in Ukraine was focused on gallery paintings and murals. But subjects for these USA/Ukraine art projects, creations were done in a realism, traditional style.
When I relocated to Colombia an inner voice kept encouraging me to switch to abstract painting. So I listened to the strong inner voice and soon switched to abstract expressionism. This genre, Abstracts, has continued for me to this day, and I expect to stay positively focused on abstracts for many years into the future. They have become a strong, enjoyable art passion in my life.
So I encourage you to view the collection and review the many abstracts with an open heart, open mind and to tune in to your feelings and emotions when observing, reflecting upon each painting. Paintings available for purchase will be noted in the collection(s). If sold, will be also noted as such.
