Ah sí, sueños de oro. Los colores dorados producen mucho simbolismo. Representa riqueza, alto valor, glamour, dorado, por supuesto, un metal precioso y mucho más. Me gusta trabajar con pinturas metalizadas doradas. Se pueden encontrar diferentes brillos, dorados verdosos, dorados rojizos, muchos opacos o semitranslúcidos. Las pinturas o láminas doradas son muy populares y se incluyen en las pinturas de muchos artistas en estos días.

Así que en esta pintura se ven áreas muy fuertes y deliberadas de oro metálico. Toma una pintura ordinaria y, a menudo, la transforma en una pintura extraordinaria, si se utiliza hábilmente. Cuando comencé esta pintura, descubrí que realmente disfrutaba trabajar con la pintura dorada y cómo funcionaba tan bien, contrastando muy bien con las áreas violeta y azul. Ah yes, dreams of gold. Gold colors produce much symbolism. It represents richness, wealth, glamour, gilding, of course a precious metal and so much more. I like working with gold metallic paints. You can find different lusters, greenish golds, reddish golds, many opaque or semi translucent. Gold paints or foils are very popular and included in many an artist's paintings these days.

So in this painting you see very strong and deliberate areas of gold metallic. It takes an ordinary painting and often transforms it into an extraordinary painting, if skillfully utilized. As I began this painting I found that I really enjoyed working with the gold paint and how it worked so well, contrasting nicely with the violet and blue areas. The golds brought some warm, pleasant contrast to all the areas of cool blues and violet colors. I speak of warm and cool in the sense of temperature, not physical temperature but sensations, impressions visually of warmth or coolness. Hope you like this painting.
