Confetti Spaghetti

Esta pintura en composición es un poco menos activa que la mayoría de mis pinturas abstractas. Quizás más calmante, para mí haber creado y más calmante también para el espectador. Intento incorporar en muchas de mis pinturas líneas fluidas y conectadas que trabajan para separar y definir, que apoyan las grandes formas irregulares que normalmente surgen mientras pinto. La línea que superpongo sobre y alrededor de las formas grandes y pequeñas también ayuda a guiar el flujo de los ojos y proporciona un sentido de dirección para la composición. Cuando miro esta pintura, puedo sentir el calor, como en la temperatura de selección del color.

¿Cuáles son quizás tus pensamientos y sentimientos sobre esta pintura? Además, ¿qué opinas del título? Las líneas blancas fluidas me hicieron pensar en hebras de espagueti y los pequeños óvalos, los rectángulos redondeados me recordaron pedazos de confeti ... así que así surgió el título.

This painting in composition is a little less active than most of my abstract paintings. Perhaps more calming, for me to have created and more calming also to the viewer. I try to incorporate in many of my paintings flowing, connecting lines that work to separate and define, support the large irregular shapes that typically come forth as I paint. The linework that I overlay upon and around the large and small shapes also helps to guide the eye flow and provide a sense of direction for the composition. As I look upon this painting I can feel the heat, as in the color selection temperature.

What perhaps are your thoughts and feelings about this painting?  Also, what do you think about the title? The flowing white lines made me think of strands of spaghetti and the small ovals, rounded rectangles reminded me of pieces of confetti....so thus the title came forth.
