Message
This work was commissioned for a booklet cover for a scientific conference on genetics. The close-up or a corn cob I approached somewhat as an abstract design pattern and added a bit of painterly component with the top and bottom edges showing painting swatches. The acrylic painting has a double cream matte and a cherry frame.
