The community of pitcher plants seemed to create movement as light meandered 'round each plant. I loved the dramatic lighting, the textures and subtle colors. I printed this archival print to be a dead-on match to the original colored pencil drawing. The framed print is framed in a simple L-shaped black frame with a subtle silver-gold inner frame.
It's very tasteful. The drawing appeared in a 2018 article written for the American Society of Botanical Artists' Journal describing the step-by-step colored pencil process I use. It also was chosen to be included in the 2018 juried annual exhibition of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators exhibit in Washington D.C.
