My three abstract paintings, So the Story Begins, So the Story Goes, and So the Story Ends, explores the delicate tension between control and surrender in abstract painting. The cool light blues create a calm foundation, while warm mustard and ochre brushstrokes add movement and energy. Deep blues and teals introduce contrast, weaving through fluid curves that suggest a quiet flow. This work grew from a process of intuitive gestures—trusting the paint to lead me—highlighting the ongoing balance between conscious intention and unexpected discovery that drives my practice.
