Growing up in Florida near the ocean holds many fond memories for me as we spent many summers at the beach. My contemporary abstract painting, Lovin' the Blues, grew from my deep connection to water—the ocean’s vastness, the shifting waves, and the quiet reflections of a swimming pool. In this piece, I explore a range of blues, from rich navy to soft sky tones, layered with touches of pale yellow, green, and hints of orange to bring warmth and depth. This work is special to me, reflecting both memory and the living experience of the sea.
