Island Moon is a 30 by 22-inch mixed media piece on watercolor paper that captures a vibrant tropical night where tall palm trees stand silhouetted against a luminous full moon. The deep blues of the sky blend seamlessly with golden and white clouds, while a calm body of water reflects the scene below. Using my own photography transfers alongside collage and acrylic paint, I created a textured shoreline filled with colorful abstract shapes, balancing natural beauty with expressive detail. This piece is inspired by my travels to tropical islands and the quiet magic of moonlight on the beach.
