This work was inspired from my travels to France in 2013, and 2015. As plein art instructor, I have had the great privilege of leading 2 painting tours to France. I hope one day to be able to lead students in these cultural tours once again. I feel making these personal connections is so important to our understanding of others around the world. On each trip my students and I connect with local contemporary artists and of course the historical ones too. This work is on a gallery wrapped canvas.
